They Wrote That? opened for a limited run from January 15, 2004 to March 14, 2005. The show was produced by James B. Freydberg and CTM Productions and directed by Tony award winner Richard Maltby, Jr. In it, Mann and Weil performed songs from their catalogue of hits and told stories about their personal and professional history.
